Hi all,

We have a library called libdatastore.so (a c++ jobbie) which, among other things, calls PQconnectdb. This is all fine and works on all our systems - except for one which is running SLES11 hardened.

This is the error - symbol lookup error: libdatastore.so: undefined symbol: PQconnectdb

We have LD_LIBRARY_PATH set up correctly and even have LD_PRELOAD set to pick up libpq.so

As I say, on non-hardened SLES11 this all works. Anyone shine a light on what I might look at to see what's going on? I'll admit I know nowt about hardening - it was delivered to us this way.

Best, John
