Development snapshot packages for postgresql-10 for Debian sid have
been available on apt.postgresql.org for some time. Following popular
demand, we have augmented the list of target distributions to include
the following list:
Debian sid (unstable), amd64
Debian jessie (8), amd64
Ubuntu xenial (16.04), amd64
Ubuntu trusty (14.04), amd64
The packages are built directly from PostgreSQL git master, and are
updated every 6 hours.
To use, add a sources.list entry targeting -pgdg-testing along with
the "10" component:
deb http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt/ sid-pgdg-testing main 10
deb http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt/ jessie-pgdg-testing main 10
deb http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt/ xenial-pgdg-testing main 10
deb http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt/ trusty-pgdg-testing main 10
Development snapshots are a moving target, and the catalog version
will change frequently. Be prepared to dump/reload the clusters on
upgrade. Do not use postgresql-10 for production data before it is
officially released.
