Details:
my installation is postgresql-9.0.1-1-windows.exe
my os:Vista
Error:The database cluster initialization failed
I have tried many methods below, but all failed:
(1)Set "postgres" user to group administrater
(2)Allow full access to all users ( including "postgres" user) on "Postgres
Folder".
(3)Make "postgres" user as the owner of the data directory....
(4)install db on "D:\" and also follow (2) and (3)
postgresql-9.0.1-1-windows.exe CAN'T be installed on
Vista?????????????????????
pls tell me,it take me 4 hours!!!!
