Japan PostgreSQL Users Group (JPUG) announces The PostgreSQL
Conference 2008 in Tokyo. The PostgreSQL Conference is an
annual and the largest PostgreSQL community's event in Japan,
to be held under the auspices of JPUG. The conference will be
held on June 6, 2008, at Izumi Garden Conference Center, Tokyo.
It will be a full-day, three-tracks conference, plus one
tutorials session, accross the separate four conference rooms,
covering over the length and breadth of PostgreSQL RDBMS, the
world's most advanced open source database. Keynote speaker is
Mr. Bruce Momjan, EnterpriseDB, who will talk about "PostgreSQL's
Path to the Future".

There will also be a separate big event following to the
conference, JPUG General Assembly Meeting, where the accounting
statements, activites in the prevous fiscal year are to be
reported. Budgets for the following year shall be exercised and
voted. The election for JPUG directors in 2008 is conducted at
this meeting.
