I'll have to dig thought the archives to quote.

I know my proposal was "For commerical companies, brand new or major versions
increases of products/services only." A *sale* is not a product or service,
and has zero relevance to PostgreSQL.

Or, do put it another way, this vendor is using the PostgreSQL site for free
online advertising for their online store. I thought we eliminated the
banner ads because we didn't want our site cheapened with irrelevant
commercial traffic? If we're going to reverse that and take advertisements,
then let's at least collect some money for them!

AM software has been sending them every 6 weeks so far.
