We are happy to announce the release of Archiveopteryx 2.0.

http://www.archiveopteryx.org/2.0.html

Archiveopteryx is a mail archive server that stores normalized mail in a
PostgreSQL database, and serves it using IMAP/POP. It has now been used
in production for over a year, and is available both on commercial terms
and as open source.

Notable changes since 1.10 (the last release we announced here; there
have been ten releases since then):

- Sieve (and managesieve) support
- SMTP Submit support
- Many bugfixes and workaround for invalid messages
- Numerous performance and memory usage improvements
- PostgreSQL 8.1.x or later required

This release also features a nascent web archive server with very basic
functionality. See http://archives.oryx.com for an example.

Please join the mailstore-announce list if you want to be notified of
future releases; and mailstore-users to discuss Archiveopteryx.
