Hi Folks !

I got this error with pgaccess:

PostgreSQL error message: Connection to database failed
ERROR: Client encoding UNICODE is not supported

What is this and how to fix it ?

I am running pg 7.2 on a RH 7.3. This error comes with a vnc-session from a
winbox and on the linuxbox's X itself.

I can access dbs with ssh / psql no problems, but sometimes it is easier to
view and check something through 'X'.

Does the error have any furher implications which should be taken care of
before the machine goes into production ?

TIA,

aarni
