Hi, I'm new to this list.

My question:

Is there a way to access the transaction id of the current transaction
in postgresql using e.g. the JDBC interface ?

Obviously, there is a way: make some modification and then read the
`xmin' column of the modified row. But is it possible to do this in a
more simple manner ?
