Problem Description:

in psql if you \d a database , it says backend died
the current distribution , the one I originally confused
for 6.4.1 did NOT have this problem . 6.4 did and 6.4.beta2 was good
so now I am back to 6.4.beta2 and keeping my fingers
crossed
