Hmm, but not in ecpg. It seems this has to be added.
Anyway, here's what ecpg allows for transaction handling:
ABORT TRANSACTION | ROLLBACK WORK | ABORT | ROLLBACK;
END TRANSCACTION | COMMIT | COMMIT RELEASE | COMMIT WORK RELEASE;
BEGIN | BEGIN TRANSACTION | BEGIN WORK;
