- Provide subject matter expertise on PostgreSQL
- Architect/design high availability PostgreSQL database clusters
- Install, configure, and tune PostgreSQL database clusters on Linux distributions (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu
- PL/SQL installation and configuration
- Scripting (Perl, Shell, Python)

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED:
- 7+ years of PostgreSQL database architecture and administration experience
- Experience installing, configuring, tuning high availability database clusters (terabyte sized)
- Database replication and partitioning experience
- Scripting experience (Perl, Shell, Python)
- Extensive PL/SQL experience
- Extensive knowledge of OLTP (Online Transaction Processing)
- Experience with Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) configurations
- Experience with Virtualization technologies (VMware, Vblock, etc) is preferred
- Superior customer service and communication skills, experience providing consulting services to enterprise organizations

Requirements
