Yeah!

I talked with Josh Tolley about it at PGCon. Right now I have a small
collection of scripts that check for potential problems and email me. It
would be much better if every DBA didn't have to invent their own set of
scripts (inevitably leaving out some checks), but could instead just
install pgsnmpd. Also, the fact that it's SNMP means that it's much
easier for people other than me to see the status of the server from
OpenNMS.

I'll be using pgsnmpd soon, but I got caught in some other projects so I
probably won't get around to implementation for a month or so.
