Does anyone out there have experience with connecting to oracle within a
postgresql server, or vice versa?
For postgresql servers, I'm aware that there's a modified dblink for
oracle (http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsql-odbc/2003-10/msg00054.php)
and I remember seeing a post regarding dblink for jdbc in progress (I
think by Joe Conway).
For oracle, there's HS-ODBC.
I don't see many questions or user experience on the web or in groups
for these topics, or announcements about new versions of dblink for
oracle. Any comments from the sfpug folks? I'm surprised that this isn't
a hotter topic.
Thanks,
Reece
