CHAR(14)

The annual international PostgreSQL community conference 'CHAR(14)',
focusing on Clustering, High Availability and Replication, is being held
near London, UK on July 8, 2014.

Main sponsors 2ndQuadrant are joined by Translattice, together presenting
the important new technologies of Bi Directional Replication (BDR), Logical
Replication and Postgres-XL. We also have speakers from the Slony Project
and Bloomberg, amongst others.

BDR, an async multimaster solution, is due to be announced in more detail at
the conference. This will be the first opportunity to understand how BDR
works and understand what implementation options are available - directly
from the developers.
