Can you give any more detail than "postmaster no longer starts up"? Is it installed as a service? Are you starting it from the command line? Are there any errors in /var/log/postmaster.log?

Subject: [CYGWIN] postmaster will not start after reboot
I installed cygwin successfully on win2k machine. I did the initdb command, and connected to the database on the next run. However, postmaster no longer starts up. Is there something I'm missing? How do I fix it?
