Consultancy request (Moldova)

Dear Sirs,

We intend to use PostgreSQL technology within a complex project of data
processing. We require your assistance (support) in the formal
acknowledgment of DB PostgreSQL 8.04 (9.04) - compatibility with OS UBUNTU
Server 9.04 (10.10).

Our company represents an integrator of complex informational systems. Our
specialty lies in the design, elaboration and implementation of Data entry
systems, data capture systems, ERP, electronic archiving and databases. In
designing these systems we often apply open source platforms.

Project specifications:

Our objective is to design a system of scanning, recognition and caption of
15 mln pages. Processing period constitutes 6 months. At this moment, we
have agreed on the technologies we are going to apply.

PostgreSQL 8.04 database was installed and tested on Ubuntu Server 10.10.
Such architecture functions very well.

However, in order for the system to be accepted by the beneficiary, we need
the formal recognition of the compatibility between OS Ubuntu Server and DB
PostgreSQL 8.04 (9.04).

In this regard, could you please supply us with a document, such as MAF -
Manufacturer Authorization.

We would much appreciate receiving your reply by 27 November 2010.
