Make sure that TCP/IP is enabled in PostgreSQL. Check
$PGDATA/postgresql.conf. Also, you might find it easier to allow
password connections in $PGDATA/pg_hba.conf. iirc, the RPMs default to
ident.

I set the tcpip_socket = true
However the "ident" password still didn't work?
