I installed postgres on Red Hat 7.0.

It was working fine, created a database, inserted records etc.

Now when I attempt to start the server with "/etc/rc.d/init.d/postgresql
start" I get an error "standard in must be a tty"

Any help would be appreciatted.

Thanks in advance Mike
