Hello!

It seems that I can't increase -B beyond 64, or use -N at all, without the DB failing to accept connections.. Here is my current working invocation:

/usr/bin/su - postgres -c "nohup /usr/local/pgsql/bin/postmaster -i -S -D /usr/local/pgsql/data -o '-F -B 64 -S'"

I would like to allow 128 backends, as -N 128 (right? not 100% positive) and so the calculation follows that I should set -B to 256 (right?)

I remember reading something about this for 6.4.x, but I can no longer find any information about it... Thanks for your help!

Ty
