Community Conferences

pgDay Lowlands, presented by PostgreSQL Europe, will be at the Blijdorp Zoo in Rotterdam this September 12, 2025!

This event is suitable for just about any audience, whether you’re a student, open-source enthusiast, decision maker interested in evaluating PostgreSQL as a solution, developer, DBA, or PostgreSQL contributor.

It should be a nice opportunity to travel with friends or family as well, given the location of the venue is at the Diergaarde Blijdorp, a top zoo in the Netherlands.

We’re looking for 45 minute and 25 minute long talks, and encourage case studies and real world applications. We also have an open Call for Lightning Talks which can be about anything (extension development, community initiatives, etc.), as well as 20 minute long debates which are similar to a panel (but more opinionated).

The call for papers is closing soon (on May 1st at 23:59:59 in Rotterdam, Netherlands). Submit your proposal here.

Need help with submittals? The team at pgDay Lowlands can help - send an email to team@pgday.nl and we have mentors in the organising committee who are equipped to help with abstract creation, best practices, and more.

The Call for Sponsors is still open! Interested in supporting an excellent community event and making a meaningful difference? Sign up here.

We can’t wait to see you all at the event!
