Announcing the Release of OmniDB 2.4

2ndQuadrant announces the release of OmniDB 2.4 This release includes a new real-time monitoring feature for the dashboard. The monitoring feature included in this release, is an interface present both in omnidb-app and omnidb-server. It allows the user to monitor in real-time, the situation of the database with multiple charts and grids for the major part of aspects that need to be monitored: backends, bloat, sizes, among others.

OmniDB is a browser-based database management tool. It is designed to be a powerful, yet lightweight, user-friendly and fast-performing interface for PostgreSQL databases. OmniDB is fully backed by 2ndQuadrant’s world renowned 24/7 Production Support.

The new features in this release are listed below:

  • Custom Monitoring Dashboard: User defined monitoring dashboard with charts and grids, allowing the user to create custom monitoring in a python sandbox.
  • Persistent user data: Configuration files and logs now persist through upgrades of new releases.
  • Bug fixes
