I am setting up a postgres server on Redhat Fedora Core 2, and am
unable to connect via tcpip.
I have enabled tcpip_socket in postgresql.conf.
For testing prposes, I'm using trust for local and host in
The command I am running is:
psql -h nagios
Username is shawn
This works if I leave off the -h
Attached is the strace for postmaster.  The strace for psql is too big
for the email list, so it is posted at
