"could not send startup packet: Broken pipe"
Could anyone please tell me what does it mean by this error message?

It happens to me when I call PQconnectdb() function. Is that I call it too
much at a time?
System could not handle the bursty TCP/IP traffic or anything else? Packet
loss?? :-(

Client Env.:
Redhat 7.2
libPQ comes from PostgreSQL 7.3

Server Env.:
Redhat 7.2
Postgresql 7.3

(Ethernet Lan connected.)

Thanks a lot.

regards, Frankie
