Experienced backend developer - Denmark / Debian / C++ / PostgreSQL

We have a challenging and exciting open position for a senior backend
programmer in Zecure ApS.

Zecure ApS supplies international customers with advanced Internet based
payment gateway and online credit card fraud prevention services. Our
systems run on Debian using PostgreSQL, with backend programming in C++
and Python, and frontend in Ruby on Rails.

Zecure’s payment and fraud prevention gateway utilizes advanced algorithms
for analyzing an Internet user’s behavior on our customers’ websites. The
analysis is performed on-the-fly and used as decision for acceptance or
rejection of each online payment.

Our systems process several million requests every year, and must have an
uptime percentage no less than 99.99%. Therefore, the systems rely on a
distributed and fault tolerant architecture.

- you have a degree in engineering or equivalent
- you have 3 years of experience as a backend programmer covering most of
- Python, C++ programming languages
- Linux Operating Systems
- PostgreSQL Database
- you have a solid understanding and experience of doing business on the
Internet and providing support to Internet customers
- you can communicate fluently in English, both in speach and writing
- you have the experience and ability to take personal responsibility for
key parts of our backend system.
