Topic: 10 things you can use in PostgreSQL 8.3
Speaker: Selena Deckelmann
When: Thursday, January 17, 2008, 7:00pm
Where: FreeGeek, 1731 SE 10th Ave

Selena will present 10 practical new features in PostgreSQL 8.3. We'll
cover a couple new datatypes - ENUM and XML, full text search
(briefly!), a couple nice things for sysadmins (CSV log output, stat
collection), and a few goodies for PL/PgSQL. I will have a few examples,
and am looking for more.

8.3RC2 should be coming out any day now, and hopefully we'll have the
full release by the end of the month!

Please bring questions.

Refreshments at the Lucky Lab after.

See you all tonight!
