Hello Matthias,
I have reworked patch 0007 to use the same snapshot helpers and
interval setting as [1]. The two series still work independently.
Validation now maintains an active snapshot throughout the process,
replacing it between phases and heap pages (100ms by default). The new
snapshot is registered before releasing the old one.
Note that when combining the series, TIDs skipped by the build's
duplicate-check budget must also reach validation, as STIR alone may
miss them. I have added a TODO for this.
