Hi Marc,

I assume that it is failing on the small grey window which appears before
the colour faded one with the Vale Software Logo? If so that is the
Microsoft written setup bootstrap that copies the files required for the
main setup program to run (because the main setup prog is written in VB, it
requires the same version of various system files as I have).

Can you see if a log file has been created - it should be called st6unst.log
and should be in C:\Program Files\Vale Software\pgAdmin. If not, it may be
in your Windows directory. Hopefully the logfile will indicate what file
failed to copy (and maybe even why) and we can copy it manually.

If you send me the file I'll check it out.

BTW: There's going to be another new release any day now - there are some
major updates that are particuarly beneficial if you are importing data or
migrating a database.

Regards,

Dave.
