Mobile Authentication and Token Service:
IQ System Technologies has developed an OTP solution which is robust, cost effective and may already be residing in your pocket or purse. Any Java MIDP/Windows ME enabled cell phone or PDA can be used as a hardware token device for secure access into you sensitive systems. Users are no longer required to carry around multiple bulky hardware tokens and are replaced by installing light weight token manager software on their existing cell phones or
PDAs. The token manager software can maintain multiple OTP generating algorithms for access into an unlimited number of unique systems. Apart from MIDP-2 application, a secured portal for Managed Authentication Services is also part of the project.

Customer Monitoring Device Portal:
This is a world class portal exceeding the capabilities of any other MSSP/MNSP in TATA Communication’s market. The portal is a redundant J2EE compliant web application utilizing secure login capabilities via HTTPS (128-bit encryption) and RADIUS server support. The portal allows authorized security and network personnel to view device, device logs, events and service information alongside Internet security data and early warning forecasts. This convergence of customer specific data and up to date global threat intelligence highly strengthens an organizations overall security posture.

Remedy Portal:
This is a world class portal used to support the ISS integration as well as standalone MSSP solution for TATA Communications. The portal will be redundant J2EE compliant CRM Tool utilizing secured login capabilities. The portal will allow authorized security and network personnel to view, analyze and close the Problem tickets raised by the customer for the warnings and alerts raised.

Responsibilities:
• Installation and configuration of Oracle, PostgreSQL Databases.
• Creation of databases as per specifications given by the end users.
• User accounts, roles, and privilege administration.
• Designing and implementation of database backup, restore and recovery procedures/techniques.
• RMAN and Export/Import utilities for selective Backup.
• Check Alert Log errors and make necessary actions to rectify them.
• Monitor objects growths (tablespaces, tables).
• Fine tuning and troubleshooting of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Frequent analysis of objects or schemas to improve the speed of the database
• Handling the connection related issues – resolving problems in client systems due to errors in tnsnames.ora in Oracle and pg_hba.conf in PostgreSQL.
• Database maintenance activities like index rebuilding based on user requests.
• Upgradation to Oracle 10g from Oracle 9i and PostgreSQL 8.4 from 8.3 Versions.
• Configure & manage standby database for disaster recovery (Data Guard).
• Taking cold Backups for test and development database based on the client requirement.
• Monitoring the backup and check its consistency and integrity by doing a restoration on a different server. This is done as a part of disaster recovery verification mechanism.
• Keeping a checklist and methodologies, that defines required deliverables at each stage.
