I agree with Emily on this. There's no need to risk offending people of
non-Christian faiths. (Most faiths that I've heard of do have some sort
of celebration near the winter solstice, so "happy holidays" at this
time of year isn't going to bother anyone. Just don't say *which*
holiday.)
