The following bug has been logged online:
Bug reference: 4508
Logged by: dta
Email address: daniel(dot)tasseroul(at)siemens(dot)com
PostgreSQL version: 8.3
Operating system: Vista (windows 2008)
Description: bug #4389 could not reattach to shared memory
Details:
Hi,
when I follow the advices in the different posts :
- remove the postgresql.pid (can't see this file) ;
- run sfc/scannow
I still have the error
"could not reattach to shared memory ".
Is there a patch for that ?
What are the consequences ?
The database will go into production very soon.
Any help will greatly appreciated !!
Best regards,
Daniel Tasseroul
