Tom Lane has been committing lots of bug fixes, including performance
enhancements for both UNION ALL and constraint exclusion.  Andrew
Dunstan committed lots of "DROP IF EXISTS" functionality.

Magnus Hagander will be speaking at Linuxforum/2006 in Copenhagen,
Denmark, which takes place March 3 and 4, 2006.

Devrim Gunduz and Tatsuo Ishii have founded the PgPool Global
Development Group.

Binary packages for Slony-I are available
Kudos to Devrim Gunduz

pgpool 2.7.2 and 3.0.0 released

Pervasive helps Did-it with a large PostgreSQL installation.

Burcu Guzel and Devrim Gunduz have started a GUI PostgreSQL installer
for Linux

PL/Py 0.3 released

The folks at Sourceview are attempting to get a new magazine, SourceView Open 
Journal, up and out in the next few months.  The first issue looks at user
