No functions avaliable!

Hello,

My problem is the following.

I use PostgreSQL 8.0.3 and PgAdminIII on Suse Linux
9.3 Pro. When I create a new db and use template1 I
get no functions or operators or anything else on the
corresponding lists. Is that OK because when I do that
on Windows I get somewhere around 300 functions and
some trigs and some operators.

Is that OK? What am I doing wrong?
