Disclosure: It is my basic belief that animated graphics
are evil and wrong. They annoy me and hurt my eyes.
I have been asked to change my one measly little ad
on my General Bits column to a relatively slow
animated graphic.
Should I do it? Will it alienate readers? The money
for the ad is OK, but won't make or break anything.
