Ah yes, this would be "the current alpha release of the MySQL database
server." (http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-4.1.html).

The sad thing is, this exciting new development is the cover
story on iX, which is one of the leading German monthly IT magazines
( http://heise.de/ix/ , with cover picture ), the article (in German):
http://www.heise.de/ix/artikel/2003/02/040/

Reading it you would think some kind of revolution in open source
database technology was taking place ;-)
