I ran into several configure failures:
- Configure finds version for tcl, but then can not find wish nor
tclsh as it looks for commands without version suffix
- Configure indicates default for openssl is /usr/local/ssl, then it
does not set a flag of "-L/usr/local/ssl/lib"
- --with-java requires an entire other application of "ant", which
the author indicates he created because make was not portable, now
if we could only figure out how to build the authors creation!
