#231: New connection in query tool crashes pgadmin
-----------------------+----------------------------------------------------
Reporter: brsa | Owner: dpage
Type: bug | Status: new
Priority: minor | Milestone:
Component: pgadmin | Version: trunk
Keywords: querytool | Platform: windows
-----------------------+----------------------------------------------------
Tested pgAdmin v1.12.0 RC1 on Windows XP Pro. Server = pg 8.4.4 on Debian
Lenny.
Also tested with various types of connections, databases and with pgAdmin
on XP Home.
Steps to reproduce (happens every time):
- In the query tool choose "<new connection>".
- Enter a combination which cannot successfully connect. Therefore you get
a "connection failed" error msg., which is as it should be.
- Now, try again by choosing "<new connection>" again. Bang.
This is probably related to #209 (and #211).
