Here is the info for this opening. Rate would be in the 50-60/hr range.

Client in Columbia (Baltimore), MD looking for a developer for a 6 month
project with an option to extend. I have pasted in the info for this
opening below. The are looking for a candidate with research and development

experience in their backgrounds.

Client needs someone with a mid-level skill set
with a SQL background (including Firebird, PostgreSQL, MySQL,
Cloudscape/Derby, MS SQL Server - not necessarily Oracle). The
candidates should be competent with a least one scripting language
(Perl, Shell, Python or Ruby) and be willing to learn. Most
importantly they must be at home on Solaris or Linux. This candidate should
also
have benchmarking and failover experience.

The project will be mostly R&D work:
- PostgreSQL installation and support
- Various Open Source tools evaluations and support
- Shell Scripting for automation
- Help the senior developers on application implementation
