Hi,
I need help....
a.. The version of Postgres is 6.4.2
b.. My operating system is Linux RedHat v5.1 Elf
c.. The hardware is Pentium 200
Creating the database installation from the Postgres superuser account by typing
d.. $ initdb
does not seem to be working.
The errors given are:
_Running: postgres -boot -C -F -D/usr/local/pgsql/data -Q template1
syntax error 2305 : parse error
...
_ERROR: pg_atoi: error in "template1": can't parse "template1"
_ERROR: pg_atoi: error in "template1": can't parse "template1"
initdb: could not log template database
