I've just finished the build for debian unstable and it built smoothly. While testing a bit, I remembered an idea I had but never dropped to the team, maybe not for this release but for the next one, could we add a feedback while connecting to a PostgreSQL host:
if you try to connect to a non-existent server (server down for example), the timeout can be quite long to come and the app _seem_ to hang (it does not, it just lacks user feedback). It may be useful to the user to have a small window or whatever you prefer indicating that something is really going on and why not a n informational message with a small sentence or progress bar indicating the time to go before the tcp timeout.

I'll build debian/testing packages tomorrow and upload the hole bunch of files a little bit after.
