Hi,

I am having a problem when I am using Progres. Please help.

Alfred(at)AL ~
$ ipc-daemon&

Alfred(at)AL ~
$ postmaster -D /usr/share/postgresql/data
PGSTATBUFF: recvfrom(2): DEBUG: database system was shut down at 2002-06-04

$ PGSTATBUFF: recvfrom(2): Resource temporarily unavailable

It keeps having the error and I need to use "Ctrl-C" to terminate this. I am
using Progres7.2.1 and I tried to use cygipc1.07 and 1.11, and both of them
have the same error. My platform is Windows XP with cygwin installed.

Thank you,
Alfred
