Not sure if I saw this mentioned here already so here it goes.

PostgreSQL 8.0 is in the "New Products" section of the April 2005 issue of
Linux Journal.

A very nice announcement. Mentions PITR, tablespaces, improved disk and
memory usage through ARC, background writer, and vacuum delay.
