If anyone is interested, check out http://horde.org/imp ... got this
pointed out to me a few days ago, and installed it in an evening...

It uses an RDBMS for its backend, for storing addressbook and preference
settings, of which PostgreSQL is supported (well, sort of supported...I've
ended up submitting patches to bring it up to date)...

I thought it was neat, and the interface as far as a mail reader is
concerned looks/feels pretty good. For those with multi-user systems,
makes a nice tool for those travelling and wanting to step into any
'Internet cafe' and check their email :)
