Yes, there are significant differences between the two. But if you are
planning to use PostgreSQL for a new project, the differences may not be
very relevant. Differences may be important when you try to migrate from
Oracle to PostgreSQL?
For most of the features which are there in Oracle, but missing in
PostgreSQL, there are work-arounds.
