The third edition of the Ecudorian PostgreSQL Day will be held on
November as part of the International Meeting of Free Software
(http://minga.asle.ec, 26-28) in Quito, Ecuador (South America):

Confirmed speakers includes Simon Riggs (2ndQuadrant, United
Kingdom), Jaime Casanova and possibly other contributors from Latin America.

The International Call for Papers is now open.
Each session will last from 45 to 90 minutes, and may be on any topic
related to PostgreSQL.
Presentation language can be English, Spanish or Portuguese.
This year we're looking for talks and hands-on tutorials, specially on
migrations from propietary databases, sucess stories in the Public
Sector and Government Agencies.
The submission deadline is October 31st, 2013.
Selected speakers will be notified on a rolling basis before the
deadline or until all slots were full.

Proposals should be emailed to ecpug(at)postgresql(dot)org, this thread or
ec(at)postgresql(dot)org(dot)

The advertising partnership campaign for PGDay 2013 has just started.
There are several opportunities for you to join the advertising
(including program guide printing and badge, lanyards, folder/bag, or
t-shirt sponsorship).
It is also possible to directly sponsor a speaker for the conference,
a meeting room or social events

The organization is being coordinated in the Ecuador's PostgreSQL
Users Group: ecpug(at)postgresql(dot)org
