The pg_basebackup man page
<http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.3/static/app-pgbasebackup.html> says: "Only
regular files and directories are allowed in the data directory, no
symbolic links or special device files."

But when I look in /data/postgres/main/pg_tblspc, all of the files are
symbolic links.
