well, probably... but not many years ago we wouldn't see integrated
replication in postgresql... still, here we are...
it's a difficult problem to solve? surely. we can make it work all the
time and for any x major release? probably not.
that's why i want the XLOG_PAGE_MAGIC, but you're question about
catversion is a very good one
