I've been active with PostgreSQL since the 7.2 days and note theres not much going on in Melbourne. If there is interest I'm more than happy to arrange a venue/talks and be the principal organizer.

I'm interested. I'm in Geelong these days, but can make the trip up. I'm not actively using pg at the moment, but still stalk the mailing lists.
