If we can do something like :

SELECT pg_if_table_exists('bar' , pg_if_table_exists('foo', 'TRUNCATE
TABLE foo, bar, foobar')) ;

or

SELECT pg_if_tables_exists('TRUNCATE TABLE foo, bar, foobar', 'foo',
'bar') ;

I say yes !
