My workplace uses Filemaker Pro 7 for a number of applications,
including record keeping and running its till system. I was trying to
implement the same systems in pgsql with a Filemaker front end for
consistency and all was going well until I upgraded pgsql from 7.4 to
8.1. At this point, the Filemaker client on Windows continued to work
fine but when importing dates into the exact same database on a Mac
will now note display an imported date from the pgsql database.
So far, I *think* I've excluded character set, mac system, date
format, field text and format and internationalisation issues both at
the mac end and the server. I'm stumped. Is anyone aware of a similar
occurence or know of a fix?
Thanks;
TD
