Hi,

This is Anurag Pathak .

I have installed postgresql 8.3 successfully.

Now I am trying to install Open Bravo ERP but it gives me error 8.3 PostGreSQL not supported.

Open Bravo Documents suggets for Post Gres as per below link that

http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/Openbravo_environment_installation_2.50#Installing_PostgreSQL_on_Microsoft_Windows

Openbravo ERP supports PostgreSQL as its database engine.

8.3.5 is the minimum required version.
The UUID contrib package is required.
I am unable to find UUID Contrib package.

Secondly Open Bravo says:

Installing PostgreSQL on Microsoft Windows
Follow the instructions on the PostgreSQL wiki. Make sure to select the "UUID" option during the installation.
There's two installers right now: pgInstaller and One click installer, We suggest you use pgInstaller to install PostgreSQL.
By default, One click installer version does not include the UUID, if you use it you will need to also do this three steps:

Download "uuid-ossp.dll" from zip file at winpg.jp
Unpack the zip file into %Postgresql_directory%/lib directory
Restart the Postgresql server.
I Unpacked the above zip file as suggested and restarted the Server.

But Open Bravo Installer gives me same error.

I am unable to locate what is missing and where am I going wrong.

Whether I am downloading wrong version .

I will be greatfull If you can provide me detailed description with links for the same.

Looking forward for an earliest reply.

Thanks & Regards

Anurag Pathak
